Yesterday morning I bought some bitter kola I planned on chewing that day.
Same me yesterday, I had a very long stressful day, I realized I have not had ice cream in ages ( I think the last time was last year), I decided to reward myself with ice cream, that same night I was chewing the bitter kola I bought, it reminded me of a story a friend told me few weeks ago.
He said he had a lesson teacher who was always chewing bitter nut but the man was best friend with sugar, he loved sugar as much as his bitter nut, my friend said this man always had sugar in his bag, so much so that when he was eating doughnuts,he would dip the doughnut in sugar before each bite, also when he was taking hot chocolate drink, the hot chocolate mix was ²/³ of the cup against water.
I honestly do not what his blood sugar level was but what I do know is that if you can not stay off high sugary & fatty food, then certain herbs/spices should be your best friend, you should detox your system regularly, drink real teas without milk or sugar of course, & most importantly always go for medical check up.
Few weeks ago,I had a comprehensive check up, for some one that loves junk food, my blood sugar was alright but it is not an excuse not to stay away from junk & imbibe a completely healthy lifestyle
